Chan was alleged to be going to play him after the NLHE event two days ago when Chan had most of the chips on the final table, including throwing in the comment that "No one has ever won two bracelets on one day". Chan was then abused by the other two players and knocked out in third. Glazer's report noted "Chan would be a fool to play Hellmuth after such a devastating defeat, and Chan is no fool" (or something similar).


I think Hellmuth is going to win the match regardless.
