Looking for general comments. No reads -- one of the drawbacks of starting to learn to 3-table /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I think this is an obvious bet, no?

I think you'll see AJ or 97 at least 1/3 of the time, so I'd bet and call a check-raise if it comes.

small pot and you flop the nut straight with no flush draws on board. I know I'll get yelled at for this, but I think I just call the SBs initial bet. If the pot were bigger its an easy raise. But with only 4sb in the pot I don't want to raise everyone out. I also prolly dont cap his 3 bet. You are set up perfectly to raise the turn, and unless he has the same hand you do your cap will make him scared of the straight.

Easy river bet, call a raise.

Easy bet on the river.

Just call a SB raise though, unless he is a complete nutty, he will show you a full-house way too often...

I agree that there's greater potential value in popping the turn, but his straight is one that could easily be counterfeited and needs protection.
