How can BB fold with the nuts being on the board? That's just ridiculous.

I hope you added that guy to your buddy list.

What a beautiful value fold. Obviously MP1 has a Joker for the very rare Joker high str8

(You mean this wasn't a home game?)

It's good to know that people think like that. I'll know to bet or raise with the nuts on the board rather than assuming that everyone sees what's out there.

I hate to admit this but a couple days ago I folded the river and then noticed there was a straight on board. It wasn't broadway but I still would have triple split. My excuse was 4 tabling and not paying enough attention.

Raise the river. You might have gotten others to fold. LOL!! Funny hand.

This happens quite often in a B&M, I bet, raise and re-raise all the time.

I always throw in a bet/raise on the river when there's two in with me. I've been surprised on numerous occasions when one or both fold. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is usually counteracted with the increased rake the times no one folds or it becomes a capped river.

Yeah, but look at how scary that board is man.

The rake will only go up a quarter and this will only happen 50% of the time or so. This hand usually gets split 4 ways. By raising you're risking an average of 3 cents for the chance to confuse a weak player into folding and to win an extra $2 or more and a good laugh to boot. The odds on that bet are like 75:1 if you only expect one fold. I think a raise is easily +EV over time.

Make sure you aren't just building the rake when you do this.

Someone might have had a 2.

As loose as these games are, I'm sure someone sucked out with a 72o. Terrific fold.

He was worried someone had a "wrap around" straight and he folded!
