is there a different turn play that would be more profitable?

i am thinking, calling the turn. checking the river to induce 1 more bet.

Bet the flop. Checking the flop and check/raising the turn is a sucker play. Even idiots know what you have when you do this.

I would have called the turn and bet the river with only one opponent. He probably would have made a crying call on the river but he folded to your raise because you're representing a good hand.
