BB is passive and check raises a lot, so I was worried about that. Should I have bet and folded to a raise on the turn?

Too weak. Bet the turn, call if you get checkraised. If the fourth diamond doesn't come on the river, then you have to make a decision.

As a side note, if BB checkraises a lot he's not passive.
