Hi everyone!
I just finished an in-depth reading of Buntjer's Tournament book, which
focuses exclusively on Limit Hold'em. Much of his strategy relates to
playing based on your stack size vis-a-vis the total of the blinds (he often
uses 10x the total of the blinds as a good relative stack size).
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I might develop a similar
benchmark for 7 Card Stud tourneys? Something like 10x the total of one
round of antes -- in other words 10x (Ante x /images/glasses.gif -- or 10x the small bet, or
10x the bring in? I can't seem to find a simple equation that works
throughout the different stages of the tourney as well as the Limit Hold'em
equation of 10x the total of the blinds.
TIA,
Doc.
