I would like to see what others think here too. I think this is close. My default is to raise the flop, and not wait until the turn. Does betting the flop protect your hand? I think so. However, it's close, and chances are your are ahead, plus waiting until the turn gets more money in the pot.

I like it.

Raise the flop. Anybody with a flush draw will call an unlimited number of flop bets, so put in as many as you can. Then hope they hit their (hopefully non-nut) flush on the turn.

This is a toughy. I think flush draws will call a raise and are correct to do so, but overcards would not(and should not) call said raise. I think I raise the flop since I cannot predict what will happen behind me and in this instance I want to protect my hand. If I build a pot in the process, so be it, but I do NOT want the guy with Q8o to see the turn for 1 bet.

I'd raise the flop. 9 sb's is 9 sb's.

Also, by just calling you're letting the gut-shots and 5 outers off the hook.

raise the flop. if they fold, fine. if they call w/o odds, better.
