4 man Sit n Go is down to heads up play. Blinds are 2/4 (tourney chips) I have roughly 130...villian has about 70.

Hero dealt A /images/graemlins/spade.gif Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif on Button (in SB)
Hero raises to 12 preflop...villian reluctantly calls.

Flop comes 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Hero raises to 20...SB calls

Turn is Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Hero raises to 40...villian goes all in with his last 38 chips

River: 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Anything wrong with this line? Should I be this aggressive with a flush draw and overcards? I was trying to represent a decent pocket pair, and couldn't really make a great read on villian here. Any feedback is appreciated /images/graemlins/smile.gif

RESULTS: Villian flips over pocket 7s for a set and takes a healthy chip lead. Hero says, "Nice hand, nice play...I don't know how else to play that."

It was a bad beat, you played it fine.

This is why you can't have a consistent long term 60%+ ITM, or an incredibly high ROI...

How is it a bad beat?

77 has the lead the whole time.

There was nothing on the flop that would weaken the Heros hand, and the turn improved it.
There is simply no way of knowing a guy is holding pocket 7s.
Played well and lost. No a big deal. Perhaps calling it a 'bad beat' is incorrect though.
