Incredible Streak, What do you think? 55+5

Last night after busting out of a MTT, I decided to play some Sit-n-go’s.
So jump right into a 55+5 turbo that had 6 players waiting (did not want to waist any extra time).

What happens is I won. Now the 55+5 turbo is not my normal game, in fact, I play a lot of MTT’s, but limit HE is what I use primarily for adding to my bankroll. I like to play Sng’s to keep my final table play sharp. But most of my posting on this forum is in the MTT section.

Well, I decided to play another one and captured 2nd in this one.
Now a make a deal with myself to keep playing, until I miss the money.
OK.

Results:

Game 1 1st
Game 2 2nd
Game 3 1st
Game 4 3rd
Game 5 2nd
Game 6 2nd
Game 7 2nd

During game 7, I am so exhausted, am almost hoping to lose so I can do to bed. It is 11:30pm, and need to get to work early tomorrow. After the two suck outs that gave me 2nd instead of first, I now thought this was a good excuse to quit.

My question is:

How likely are these results?
Is it rare to make the money in 7 str8t games and counting?
Should I continue to my streak 2nite, or is it over?

If you're a good player you'll finish in the money around 45% of the time. Thus to finish in the money 7 times in a row: 0.45^7 = 0.373%, or 1 in 267.

I'd say you have a 45% chance of making the money in your next sng.
