Does anyone not think that they're the 3rd best team in the AFC?

Well, they're not as good as my Patriots, that's for sure.

i'm not sure who you think the second best team could be? if you're thinking colts, i prefer my teams to have a defense.

Really? Even after they stop playing after 7 toouchdowns in 3 quarters?

They are so fing hot right now.

manning and his posse are beastly right now. but they won't put up 40 points on the steelers, and the steelers O is good enough to exploit the porous colts D.

1. Patriots
2. Steelers
distant 3. Colts

As for the Colts, not only do they have no defense, but when they play a team with an above average defense, they don't look so sharp.

We'll see. I'm not convinced. Should be a great match though.

Look who the Colts are blowing out... Its not that hard to hang 50+ points on Chicago and Miami. If they weren't trying to give Manning the record so badly they would run the ball when up by 3 td's instead of still airing it out. They'll get crushed in the playoffs, the same as every year. You would think they would learn one of these years.

I don't know if I have ever seen someone throw the ball from inside the 5 as much as they do.

34-20... with most of our secondary and Corey Dillon out. Don't get it wrong, Steelers are an awesome team, way better than the Colts, but the Patriots have been pounding hell out of everybody and they've got a guy starting at corner who didn't even start in COLLEGE. Plus they've got a wide receiver out there picking passes off.

At full strength, with Dillon, and with Belichick obsessively going over that loss and figuring out how to skullfukc you guys, I take us by a touchdown. But it would be a hell of a game.

but seriously, that steelers loss, while quite possibly preventing the patriots from going 16-0, might actually be a good thing. maybe it will build up their confidence for the AFC championship game /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Not to mention the Colts cries were heard in the off-season and they were able to cater the NFL rulebook to benefit Prince Peyton.

"The committee's directive to officials was called the Patriot Rule by some in the league, since it came about after the Indianapolis Colts were furious about holding tactics by New England defenders that went un-penalized in the final moments of the Patriots' victory in last season's AFC title game. Colts President Bill Polian is a member of the competition committee."
