Hey... I posted this in the multi table forum, please explain why. I kind of knew it was bad for me, but just didn't feel like taking the huge variance.

Jay I got your PM, regardless of this being a bad deal or not, please stop insulting me about it right now. You are making me upset with myself when this should be a time to be happy. Wait a few days to make fun of me about the deal.

From what i watched you played it very well, and you should take pride in the achievement in reaching to 80% chip leader but you just gave away a lot of money. I can't see the variance arguement because you have played $5k HU SnGs against better opponents than this. You are HU for $17k against a baad opponent, a very nice situation.

Jay, we agreed earlier that 2nd place was guarenteed the $650 and the $1500 prize money that first place gets. See my post in MTT forum. But [censored], I'm getting pissed off at myself.

Brusier,

Even if the deal was lousy (and I'm in no position to make that judgement)- it's still pretty damn impressive how you've been doing as of late. Don't beat yourself up too much.

Do you all know him personally or something? Or do you see each other in online games?

Just from here in IRC. I find your question odd though.

I was only curious because you were congratulating him like you've been watching him play. That's all.

Believe it or not, we're all real people in here. Some of us even go by our real names. Some of us are nice to each other if we happen to meet in real life, regardless of petty arguments on this silly web site.

I figured that much, and I am always happy to meet a 2+2'er in real life. It just sounded like he knew them a little more than just from this website. That's all I'm saying.

I'm confused... here's what I could figure out.

1st: 15K equaling a trip to some tourney in Monte Carlo
2nd: 2.1K

What happens if you don't money in Monte Carlo? You get zip?
Or is some portion of that 15K directly given to you, and the rest is used as your entry?

I hope you at least get some chunk of cash out of the thing even if you don't money in MC.

According to Pokerstars' web site, the entry fee is $12,300 (10k Euros), $1,500 to cover the airfare, and $2,700 for hotel accomodations.
