Hand 1: I wouldn't bet the turn or river either, figuring there's too good of a chance someone has me beat. Actually, I'd consider check-folding the flop.

Hand 2: I would fold when MP3 bet the flop. You describe him as a passive postflop player. If he's willing to bet into a king and queen after I raised preflop, I'm thinking he most likely is way ahead of my pair of jacks.

Hand 3: I'd probably call down too, but I'd expect to lose to a straight, especially since UTG is passive.

Thanks for the advice. I'll post results soon, just bumping for replies.

hand 1 - check fold the flop. There are too many callers, someone has your 9's beat most of the time anyway.

hand 2 - i'm guessing you are beat here. It's 1 more bet to call the river to win a 6 bet pot. I don't have a huge problem with calling only because you don't want this guy betting at you all the time, maybe it slows him down another time, and you might win this. He could be betting A8 or something.

hand 3 - I think you are beat if this guy is passive and is betting out you are beat, fold it. Although I'd have a tough time folding too.

Thanks...not that it made much difference, I've had a rough start at 3/6, although I'm starting to adjust. Results:

Hand #1
Results in white below:
BB has As Qd (one pair, kings).
Hero has 9d 9h (two pair, kings and nines).
MP2 has 6d 6c (two pair, kings and sixes).
MP3 has 4d 4s (two pair, kings and fours).
Outcome: Hero wins 6.66 BB.

Hand #2
Results in white below:
MP3 has Kh 5c (one pair, kings).
Hero has Jh Js (one pair, jacks).
Outcome: MP3 wins 8.16 BB.

Hand #3
Results in white below:
UTG has 5h 8h (straight, six high).
Hero has Qh Qs (one pair, queens).
Outcome: UTG wins 9.66 BB.

Everyone's advice was good, although I may have lost hand 1 to a bluff if I hadn't bet the flop (though everyone seems to agree that check/folding is the right line, and it's probably what I should have done).
