Hi all,

I realize that about a week before I left for the WSOP, I promised to answer what I admitted was a reasonable question about my own tournament history. Bottom line type stuff.

The reality is that compared to the other things I had to do to get ready for a five week trip, I assigned this project a low priority, and I didn't get it done.

I CAN say that thanks to a $7600 hit my bankroll took ten minutes into the Commerce championship event, when my aces lose to kings, I know that I am, for a relatively small number of events, down for the fiscal year that ends for me June 30. Hoping to rectify that at this year's WSOP. "Making the money" in the $10,000 buy-in event in Tunica, and losing about two grand in the process, didn't help either. Regardless, my performance in the 5-7 WSOP events I plan to enter should make or break this year's results.

If you want to see my tournament reports (not just on my results of course but my stories about the entire tournament), you should go to www.poker.casino.com (http://www.poker.casino.com) and sign up for the FREE Wednesday Nite Poker newsletter (you can always cancel after the WSOP is over). The reports DO go onto the poker.casino.com site, but with a 3-4 day lag time. WNP subscribers get the reports delivered into their email inboxes daily.

If you want to respond to anything I've said here, I suggest you email me, if you want any sort of quick response. AS with RGP, I doubt I will have much time for visiting 2+2 during the WSOP, and working off my laptop's dial-in connection instead of my home cable modem will make that doubly difficult.

I'm looking forward to seeing David's new book on tournaments. No surprise, the word on the grapevine is that it is excellent.

Andy,

I don't have time to read the reports, because I'm leaving for Vegas pretty soon, and will be there Saturday night. Hope to see you there. By the way the Sklansky TPFAP is excellent and I think you should read it before you play your next No-Limit Hold'em tournament.

Good Luck
