I've crossed the 30,000 hand threshold in Poker Tracker. I know it's still not a sufficient sample size, but I still want to post my stats and get your opinions. Most of these hands were played at $3/6 (playing 3 or 4 tables at a time). I have quite a few hands at $5/10 6 max tables, but had to move back to $3/6 after a horrid Thanksgiving week.

Total Hands: 31,091
Vol Put $ in Pot: 17.05
Vol Put $ in From SB: 32.53
Folded SB to Steal: 79.22
Folded BB to Steal: 66.78
Att to Steal Blinds: 16.42
Won $ WSF %: 33.43
BB/100 Hands: 4.04
Went to SD %: 33.53
Won $ at SD %: 53.67
PF Raise %: 7.29
BB/Hr 2.78
Aggression Factor: 1.49 (w/pre-flop #'s included)
Aggression Factor: 2.52 (w/o pre-flop #'s included)

Feel free to comment. If any other stats are necessary, let me know and I will post them. I am definitely running good, but still want to improve my game as I progress. I'm looking for opinions on what I should be working on.

This doesn't look right to me if you're playing $3/6. You have to put in 2/3 so you have to play tighter from the SB. My VP$IP from SB is around 13%.

Mine's about 20% but I'm really not sure if I'm doing it right. I've just tried to tighten up significantly from 2/4.

I think 20% is more reasonable than both 32 and 13. What would be interesting, though, is to compare your winrate in SB compared to VP$IP. I have -0.06 and put the money in 23% of the time.

Argh. Really getting tired of people saying that 30k isn't of sufficient sample size. The Sample Size police have really done a number on you folks /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

30k isn't as good as 60k or 100k, but it's still plenty.

I think I have enough hands for VPIP in sb to converge, but I am certain I don't have enough for WR in the sb to mean anything at all.

I disagree (or at least have a different idea of what confidence I wan in a win rate). I played my first 40Kish hands at 3/6 with a 3+ bb/100 win rate, my next 10K hands were -1.something bb/100. I doubt either of those are my true win rate.

30K is not enough hands.

Also, please post PT stats in probablity or in the PT forums per the adice of the all mighty sticky.

VP$IP in the SB should be somewhere around the same as your button VP$IP - Probably in the low 20s, absolutely higher than your overall. I think 30% is a bit high, probably a better number for a 1/2 structure rather than a 1/3. Incidentally, I'm sitting at 22.5% at 3/6 and 32% at 1/2 structure games. However, sample sizes vary and the quality of play has gone up from my 2/4 and below days, so I doubt that means anything.

Your winrate won't be accurate for a long time, if ever, but I think at 30k hands you can at least be confident that you're a winning player. Not certain, but confident.

I'm not competent to judge the the stuff that isn't obvious, but it's easy enough to get a list of good numbers by doing a couple searches.

Probably about 10,000-15,000 hands ago, I realized how much money I was losing in the blinds. I've worked on playing tigher, especially from the small blind.

You can openraise more in CO or button. My number was ~22%, only 10K hands though and not really sure how it´s calculated. Is it the combined frequency of steals only when folded to you ?, which means it wont matter whether it only happens once every 50 hands ?
Else the it will matter what time of the day you play, so its hard to say.
After playing 5/10 6 max, I´m sure I didnt steal enough at 3/6, so you can definetly steal more unless the number is calced in some weird way.

I think you are too loose from the SB, but not sure.

Very nice winrate.

It's whenever you open raise in the CO or on the button.

30k hands is not enough hands to determine your winrate. and its not neccesarily enough to determine if one is even a winner or not.

just to let you in on streaks and such, assuming i cna actually beat party 15/30 anymore for any kind of decent winrate, i'm on pace to be a breakeven player over 45,000 hands. oh yea, this requires me to win a bunch of bb first just to break even. no small task.

This is horrible. You need this at 30-35%, maybe even higher. The blinds play horribly tight in 3/6. Those that call will normally fold the flop if they whiff.

PF raise is a bit low, I'd want to get it over 8.

Your steals are also low, around 30 is good if not more for this structure.

SB way too loose get it near 20.

I can see why you might be having trouble at 6max, definately not aggressive enough preflop. Get this right and you should be good to go back.

As far as extra stats you want aggression on each street (some people are too aggressive on one street or sometimes passive on the river).

Folded to river bet and checkraise % are also good stats to look at.

What kind of hands are you guys playing from the SB at 3/6? Also my VP$IP is around 13% at 3/6. I usually fold speculative hands up front (pockets, suited aces, suited connectors). It always gets raised behind me (and I am very picky with my table selection).

Should I be limping with these hands? Does anyone play QJs,JTs, KTs up front? I need to get my VP$IP up more but it feels like always when I limp with something it gets raised.

if these numbers include 6-max games, then your numbers are worthless

The closest thing to a be all answer to the sample size question can be found here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1342415&page=1&view=c ollapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1) .

I did take out my 6 Max #'s so they wouldn't skew the stats.

This is another problem I have been working on. It's actually up from the last time I posted my stats. I think I was in the low 6's last time.

This is something I'll definitely work on. What kind of hands would you recommend trying a steal in CO or Button. I'll raise with a decent suited connector, KTs or better, QJo, ATs or better.

My 6 max #'s are not included. I'm a lot more aggressive at the 6 max tables, plus I will play no more than two at a time. I've had a good run on the 6 max tables, but just had one bad week that sucked a lot out of my bankroll, so I scaled back. I will definitely be back on these tables because they are the fishiest tables on Party.

I'll post these stats when I get home. I'm at work right now and don't have access to my PT database.

Thank you all for the help. I really appreciate it.
