I'm in MP with Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/spade.gif. I call, someone in LP calls, and the BB checks.

Reads: LP is an inexperienced player, but she is not overly loose/aggressive rather she is passive... BB is the character at this table. He sees every flop, bets every flop, calls nearly every raise, and chases everything to the river.

Flop: K-T-8 Rainbow

BB bets, I call, LP calls.

Turn: 4, completing the rainbow

BB checks, I check, LP checks.

River: A

BB checks, I bet, LP folds, BB folds.

My questions:

Raise pf?
Bet the turn?
Raise the flop?

Anyway I could have played this better?

Raise pf?

You could. I hardly ever open-limp from MP. But in live small-stakes games, I think there's more of a case to be made for it.

Bet the turn?

I wouldn't, unless you think there's a decent chance both of your opponents will fold.

Well, you'll end up with a straight or a pair of queens or jacks by the river slightly over half of the time. BB is probably betting less than top pair.

I'd be inclined to raise if I thought both opponents might fold (unlikely, in the live games I've played in) or both might call with less than top pair (this could easily happen, I think).
