Ultimate Bet 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Table is passive overall with spurts of aggression. Button likes to bet. UTG+1 likes to call.

Preflop: Hero is BB with T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (7 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, Button bets, SB folds, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 folds.

-- Bet? Fold to the bet? Raise? I think check/call kinda stunk. Button's bet doesn't mean all that much, I think I'm probably ahead.

Turn: (4.50 BB) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, Button checks.

-- Looks like a good card to check-raise...and button decides not to bet. That really sucks.

River: (4.50 BB) 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Button raises, Hero folds, UTG+1 calls.

-- And the death card hits. Easiest fold evar.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB
Main Pot: 8.50 BB, between Button, UTG, UTG+1 and CO.

haha, EVAR! too bad about the turn.

Do you check/call here if you can close the action and it's just one bet? My instinct says "yes".

I usually go ahead and bet out on the turn in this situation. I do not know if this is correct, but I hate having it checked through and I am willing to call a raise in this spot. Anybody?

I think you definitely raise the Button's bet on the flop.

If you are ahead, your are vulnerable to overcards, so keep them out by facing them with two cold.

check/raise the flop and then you can bet the turn.
