Villian was a LAG. He was playing top 50% of hands. His overbet smelled like a bluff.

Should I have folded instead?

I think you've gotta fold this one. The BB's bet screams, if you come over top, I'm calling. You don't want a call with your hand obviously.

The blinds are still small, I fold this one and wait for a better opportunity.

I think you have to fold here.

You tried to steal the blind and got called. Even if BB is bluffing, you don't have anything either and he could easily have some piece of that flop since he is a LAG.

You probably started with the best hand preflop, but I think you should let this one go and pick a better spot to go all-in.

I agree with the others too, because of the size of your raise/stack and the fact that a big percentage of his holdings here will be beating you. The board is pretty draw-heavy too.

On another note, is 250 your standard raise here? I like the standard of at least 300 here, if not a bit higher. 250 just seems to be giving the BB a good price to catch a flop (150:400).

Looks like an easy fold to me. I usually wait until I have at least something to play back at a LAG. Since he is LAG, he could have called with anything, like 89 or something and he is way ahead of you.

I would definately be looking for an opportunity to make a stand or play back at him, but I would not pick this time to do it, especially when he is pretty much pot committed anyway.

easy fold for me also,if he is bluffing you cant be that much in front with A2,too much of a gamble to risk going bust.
