Now you can all love your friendly tyfromm.

Here is the deal. Enter "survey" with your deposit and you get a $10 bonus with only 50 hands to play off.

I entered "survey" in all lower case. No need to have received the Empire email or to have actually done the survey. I didn't.

Inspiration for my using this bonus and credit for revealing the code goes to AwesomeAli in THIS POST ! (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1336289&page=&view=&s b=5&o=&vc=1)

Sure it is only $10, but you may thank tyfromm for revealing all, while the other whores have kept the secret to themselves.

Wow, great find. Worked for me. Could this be like that $500 thing that went so wrong?

Piss us all off over $10 - Empire isn't that stupid. Though, they will adjust the bonus to account specific once they find out, so act quickly, if $10 matters to you.

Has anyone tried doing it twice? /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I happened to see this post as I was working off the last of the EPASS bonus--put in a quick $50, got the 10, finished the hands required, cashoutapproved 10 minutes after submitting. Guilt will force me to go back to my deleted emails and dig out the survey email I discarded and do it, though. Hey, 10 bucks for 15 minutes is 40 an hour which is better (by far) than my average win rate. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Made the deposit, got the bonus. My first time playing on empire in probably 5 months.

First hand I'm dealt in the $100 6-max NL?

AA.

Tripled up.

As I'm writing this post, I get dealt AA again (fourth hand). $15 profit.

Is it 50 raked hands or just 50 hands period?

Tell me you're not seriously asking this.
The answer is 'it doesn't really matter'.

Dealt AA 3 times during the course of the 50 raked hands. Tripled up once, won $15 another time, doubled up the last time. But now that I've cashed out I assume the next time I play I won't be dealt it for at least 15 hours.

I hate to make another post like this but....

I was playing some 100 max NL last night on party. I made a deposit for 200 total.

Ok so I went to two 100 max NL tables. Bought in for 100 on each. I busted out on one table and got down to 16 on another. So 1 hour after my deposit I was down to 16.00. I took my 16.00 to a 25 Max omaha pot limit table and doubled up multiple times and got back up to 215.00.

Now am I the only one who finds this a bit strange? It should not even be possible to turn 16.00 into over 200 on a 25 max omaha table. It is almost like the software felt bad for me.

Gabyyyyyyyy,

How could you be a part of these forums for so long and still not have even the slightest clue when it comes to: having a bankroll big enough to be able to sustain the bad streaks which are inevitable drawbacks due to the variance inherent in the game that we play.

It just amazes me that you would rather argue about which sites are dishonest or question the integrity of the game when the information is abundant here for you to actively attempt to become a better player.

Look in the mirror and take all of the blame. It's the only way you can succeed.

I pretty much second what Breakevenplayer says (and what others have said as well).

You should post the hands that clobbered you on the NL-100 to determine if you played them correctly.
Just insisting that you did does not cut it. Let some of the really sharp players critique your play.
They can be brutally honest sometimes (like when I first started posting really BADLY played hands....and still do sometimes) but if you accept what the sharper one's have to tell you then you'll become a better player.

I would also suggest doing the same thing with the omaha hands to see if those were played ideally as well.

Sounds to me like you are underbankrolled for the levels you play at....and also play pretty aggressively (perhaps overly so).

The players here will help you determine when to push with your OESD or top-pair or set.
There is no reason to try to figure it all out for yourself when there are so many good players here who are willing to help.

FWIW - I played my 50 hands....won $200....and got an extra $10 on top of that.
Whooopppppeee!!!!!!!

For party and empire bonuses I believe you just have to be dealt cards.

When I was 10 or so we were visiting all my relatives on my Dad's side of the family in West Virginia.

I remember my Uncle Arnold having a lengthy discussion with me and my Dad about how he switched from Old Milwaukee to Schlitz (or vice-versa) because a 6-pack of one was $2.67 but the other was only $2.61.

My Dad later whispered to me that the savings probably made a significant difference for Arnold (more because of the amount of beer he drinks....less because of his income-level).

I guess EV is genetic in my family.
As is an affinity for bad beer (which I thankfully did not inherit).
