I've been 4 tabling 22s for 2 months, doing great and I want to move up to 33s. I'm not going to list ROI ITM or sample size, or bankroll, I'm not looking to never have to move down again.

Do the players in the 33s play just as bad as those in the 22s? Is there a significant skill difference? What should I expect? Obviously I'm going to play a bunch of 33s on my own and figure it out eventually, but do you all have any advice (from a 33/22 perspective)?

To answer my question.

Just busted from 1 of my 4 tables.

Had AA, raised to 175. On top of 30 blinds. Call.

K8rag.

We get all in. Shows K8. Ouch.

There is not a huge difference, but the better players of the 33s are an improvement on the better players of the 22s, if that makes sense. The bad players are about the same 'calibre' on both.

I mostly play 33's now leaving the 22's I have noticed still have bad players and still profitable. People on 33's will sometimes fold on a reraise unlike the 22's LOL. Also your sets may not get paid off as much it seemed like most of my sets got paid off by an all in at the 22 level. Still only have like 150 33's in and not a lot of first place finishes. Want to complete 250 then compare to my 22's.
