Does anybody know how software, such as pokerTracker or the realtime odds calculators, work from a programming standpoint? I am interested in making my own software and looking for a toehold to get started. Do they look at incoming network packets, look at output to the monitor, reverse engineer part of the site's software, etc? Any programmers out there thought about this?
