here's the debate:

turn card out, player A bets, player B goes all in

player A throws cards face on top of board cards and didn't say anything... player B mucks cards and player A says that he is calling... player A's hand live or dead???

input greatly appreciated.

The hand is dead IMO. Player A throwing his cards in face down means that he folds. After Player B mucks, Player A can't suddenly change his mind based on how Player B reacted.

He threw them down face up though.
Ive heard conflicting things. I believe the last time the floor was called at commerce though, the ruling was "unless 'time' was called, revealing your hands during a hand constitutes a fold."
The incident that occured at commerce had player A revealing his hand and dealer mucking the cards for him. No reaction from player B. They ended up chopping the pot because tension was so high amongst all of the players, but that was player B's decision, the floor ruled otherwise.

We had this exact debate at the Bellagio 15/30 a few weeks ago.

They gave the pot to guy A, so player B called the Gaming Commission. The Bellagio ended up paying player B the size of the pot. The full story is pretty interesting, but I'm feeling lazy right now.
