This is only my second 10th place finish over about 250 of these. The other time I was all in with a flopped set of 6s against two callers. One hit a runner-runner straight with his pocket 9s, and the other turned his flush. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

This is a $10 SNG at Party. I usually raise to T75 preflop with the two limpers, but I decided to keep the pot small so I could get off cheap if I didn't hit.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed)

Hero (t800)
MP3 (t800)
CO (t800)
Button (t800)
SB (t800)
BB (t800)
UTG (t800)
UTG+1 (t800)
UTG+2 (t800)
MP1 (t800)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls t15, UTG+2 calls t15, MP1 folds, Hero raises to t45, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls t45, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls t30, UTG+2 calls t30.

Flop: (t205) 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets t200, Button calls t200, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds.

Turn: (t605) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Hero bets t555 (All-In), Button calls t555 (All-In).

River: (t1715) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t1715
Main Pot: t1715 (t1715), between Hero and Button. > Pot won by Button (t1715).

Results in white below:
Hero has Kh Ah (one pair, kings).
Button has Ks Qd (two pair, kings and queens).
Outcome: Button wins 1715.

It's a bad beat... you played it fine.

This post has zero value, you shouldn't have bothered to post it.

Well, the raise preflop should've been to 75 minimum, maybe even a little higher. That may have kept Mr. KQ out of the pot. AK multiway = yuck.

Uh, AKs multiway = good

I dunno if it's right or not, but I pretty much don't like playing any hand for a raise multiway in a SNG. That's why it's not good practice to play junk like 78s in these things. Every chip counts.

My only question is whether you're aggressive enough if you've only finished 10th twice in 250 tourneys.

Yawn...next game!
Aside: I really don't know how you guys can play party stacks.

Raise to 75 PF BTW

Why would you want KQ out of the pot?
