Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed)

I haven't been at the table for very long, although already my opponent in this hand looks to be rather loose-passive.

Preflop: chesspain is MP1 with 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls, 2 folds, chesspain raises, 6 folds, UTG calls.

Flop: (5.33 SB) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
UTG bets, chesspain calls.

Turn: (3.66 BB) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
UTG bets, chesspain raises, UTG calls.

River: (7.66 BB) 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
UTG checks, chesspain checks(???).

No, I wasn't afraid of the case six. Rather, I looked at the board, and thought "Damn, with that third six, I'm either chopping with his nine or losing to his ace, because I forgot that I still had nines over sixes!

The worst part is that this is the second time I've mistakingly thought I've had a boat get counterfeited. I hope that no one else here is this stupid!

Results in white below:
UTG has Qs 9d (full house, sixes full of nines).
chesspain has 9c 9s (full house, nines full of sixes).
Outcome: chesspain wins 7.66 BB.

If it makes you feel better, you may have only lost one bet, if he had put YOU on an Ace, and would only check/call the river.

Nothing is more embarrassing than that though, just remember it's better to do it on the internet, than live in the casino, where everyone can point and laugh at you.

chess, your input is required in the Milo thread.

Don't think of it as a missed bet. Think of it as possibly two or three missed bets if he would have checkraised you with an ace.

Don't you need to post some more pornographic poker sketches?

I need to know your therapuetic technique and also if you could take Milo at arm-wrestling.

Clearly, pictures of your wife and/or kids would make you the forum's favorite therapist. As long as you don't make comments about quickies with the Mrs. while playing poker, I doubt you'll get mspainted.

Milo and I both appear to be cognitive-behavioral, although sometimes I'm just mean.

I'm 6'1" and weigh about 205. Milo sounds like he may have greater mass to use for armwrestling.

Job or no job, you really need to get out of the house more often.

Hey, I already have a favorite therapist. No need to get snippy, doc.

How's .5/1 treating you? hehehe.
