it's closer to a bet than you think. he's probably got either a deuce or he turned a flush darw. the A kind of kills things. if the river was just about anything other than an A, I'd bet. a pocket pair calls you, but so does a deuce.

The river is interesting. Busted draws probably call this HU, I don't expect a CR or even a CR bluff, so betting seems like the right play. Against tricky/aggro opponents I'd probably check behind.
