Here is a typical situation that I encounter frequently. I am very unclear on the best play.
Party 15/30. I have Ace-something on the button. I raise the blinds. The small blind folds and the big blind calls.
I flop no pair. The big blind checks, I bet, and the big blind calls.
Turn comes. Still no pair. Check check.
River. Still no pair. Big blind bets. My play?
I am interested in some feedback on this situation. Are you usually inclined to call or fold? Obviously it depends on the board cards that are out, as well as on your opponent. Let's assume no read on your opponent. I would be particularly interested in a discussion of what boards to call with, what boards to fold with, and what boards it is close.
