This stems from my earlier question today, and now just need clarification on one issue.

ok. In the formula SD(100 hands)/sqrt(hands/100) = SE, SE is a measure of +/- BB/100 hands correct?

so my SD is 15.65 and have played 5,821 hands, so 15.65/sqrt(582.1) = 15.65/7.63 = 2.05

Now how do I translate that number into a BB/hr number? for instance my BB/100 hands is 6.49 and my BB/hr is 4.34, which is roughly my BB/100 hands divided by 1.5. Can I do that to the 2.05 I get to translate that into BB/hr speak?

If I were just to apply 68 percent accuracy, my BB/100 hands would be between 4.44-8.54. can I divide the upper and lower bounds by 1.5 to get my BB/hr bounds?

I realize that my low number of hands makes this near useless to me now, I'm just trying to get a hold of the equation

I don't even know what standard deviation is/means, but I just wanted to suggest posting this in the probability forum (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=probability) . You'll probably get lots of good responses.
