Can't open an account on Empire

I have an account at partypoker, today I downloaded empire and when I tried to register an account it gave me a message saying that they share poker rooms and I already have an account elsewhere etc.. What the Hell, I've heard from tons of people who have accounts at both. What is going on?

I tried the search the other day but got some page errors and it didn't work. Search is working now.
