Just got it and I overall thought it was a good book. It's not going to turn you into a winning tournament player if you're not a good poker player to begin with, but it gives you some good things to think about as far as tournament play goes and what the differences between tournament and ring play are. I'd say definitely worth picking up.

This book is an immense help to anyone trying to understand tournament play.

I think like all 2+2 books, its going to make you a better tournament player just by understanding the differences you face in a tournament vs. cash game.

In addition I am anxious for harrington on hold 'em coming out this month that will be a complete reference for tourney play in a wide range of situations you face early in the tournament, and then volume 2 due out in spring that will cover late play.

I think all 3 texts will be extremely important to solid tournament play.
