Hand 1: Villain is slightly loose-passive preflop, sometimes likes to get tricky postflop. Is the calldown good after the turn c/r?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG calls, <font color="666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="666666">2 folds</font>, UTG calls.

Flop: (5.33 SB) 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>

Turn: (3.66 BB) 5/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
UTG checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">UTG raises</font>, Hero calls.

River: (7.66 BB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
<font color="CC3333">UTG bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.66 BB

Hand 2: I feel like I screwed this one up, I'm just not sure where. Villain is a TAG.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (7 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, CO calls, <font color="666666">3 folds</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (10.33 SB) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
<font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, CO folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.16 BB) 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, MP2 checks.

River: (7.16 BB) K/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.16 BB

hand 1:
what can you beat here?
what would make that move?
i think that the only things you can beat are A high, a smaller pocket pair, or a funny OESD making a move.
if you think your opponent would bluff so hard at a pot, then call down, otherwise, it looks like hes just sitting on a Q waiting to make a move when the bets get big.

hand 2:
MP2 3 betting, and being a TAG can only mean a few hands.
AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ, maybe KQ or AJ
the flop raise, doesnt let me rule much out.
the turn check makes me think AsQs, or pocket pair below kings.
I think you can call the river enough times for it to be profitable.

on hand 2 do you fold to a turn bet?

Hand 2 I intended to fold to a turn bet.
Also, TT should be a part of that range of 3-betting hands.

I'd fold hand 1 on the turn. you're beat way more than 79% of the time

I would've just check-folded hand 2. even if he's a TAG, it's unlikely that he'll fold QQ. given the cold caller, I think you also could've capped preflop, but that's debateable.

OK, so a TAG 3-bets you preflop, then you bet the Kxx flop and he raises, and you intend to call down?

whats to say he doesnt have a smaller pair than you,he couldve raised the flop to test whether you have a k,when the hero didnt raise back it could mean AQ,AJ,AT,
i dont think his flop reraise means you are beat

preflop 3-bet + flop raise = you're beat too often to call

Hand 1: Fold the turn.

Hand 2: Cap pre-flop. Besides that, I like leading the flop and sice the turn checked through, definitly call the river bet. You're good here getting 8-1.

The first one I think is a very easy fold on the turn.

The second one...its up to you on the flop as to how he plays, but after the turn check and no spade you have to call the river, as it looks like you were freecarded
