Maybe you should go to a newer version of firefox. It looks fine in my copy, which isn't even the newest (0.93)

bastards....

For years I've been able to avoid the left-side menu crap. I don't much like the top, bottom and right hand stuff but it's advertising so I can see why it's there...

Now I got this STUPID twoplustwo forum links stuff that I DON'T need and takes up valuable screen real estate...

Apparently, someone thinks I can't find my way around if they don't FORCE me to see those forum links...

While we aren't paying money directly to 2+2 for the forum, we are not getting it for free. Can you see why?

And, it's true, the green bar is unnecessary and takes up room on an already crowded screen.

Unh, actually, no, I can't. Seriously, I can't. Probabaly a mental defect on my part (I'm old), but, seriously, I would appreciate your telling my why. No sarcasm intended. (No return sarcasm desired.)

I'm getting two green bars when I access via aol, but when I pull up ie everything is normal. also, with aol I cannot see the home page. same goes for the ubbthreads link below. with it, I can view the forums but get an error message when I click on home.

I'm using Firefox 1.0 on Windows 2K and it looks fine to me. Just one green bar for this camper.

My experience is that the navagation frame (with it's own scroll bar) has been replaced by a green-shaded column of links - there is no longer a scroll bar, and the column moves with the page, so as you scroll down a thread, the links disappears along with the page - this represents a significant loss of navagational functionality; and I used that functionality all the time....
