its has gotten better though, but it is so sporadic, I have noticed it a lot in the past couple days. Makes it very hard to check out multiple forums.

I've always gotten the random stoppages where I have to close the browser and sign back in...maybe I'm just too impatient

i don't know if i am supposed to say this, but i can't imagine why it would be a problem. as of wednesday we will have a different interface so i don't think there is anything he [Chuck Weinstock] will do to address the slowness we are having today considering it all will be changing in a day and a half. i would imagine he will archive some old stuff when the new interface is released.

They are probably doing some extra archival/backup etc on the backend when getting ready to switch to the new interface. That could easily cause or contribute to the slowdown we're seeing latley.

i was just about to make a similar thread before seeing yours. it hasn't just been the last couple of days though, it has been for a while now it's been getting slower and slower (at least that's what it seems like to me). is this the sort of thing money can solve? can everyone give a couple of bucks to make this site go faster?

That bar on the left sucks. Cuts the screen down by another quarter. The bar on the right was bad enough, but this is ridiculous.
