Just curious to see how many of the regulars I run into on Party and skins are posters here.

These are (in my humble opinion) the best SS players I have run into and I run into them quite a bit in my poker adventures. Any of these people you?

I remember dodging Nuss and Turfer a bit at 2/4 as well. I can't say much about actual skill, for the most part I dodge stats and that's sufficient for now.

FYI... I tried to make people make a list of their worst nightmares at Party 2/4 some week ago, but got blasted for it. The general thought among posters here is that players names shall not be mentioned due to several of the good players also being professional, and don't want their names being highlighted. I wouldn't mind having my name listed among the great ones, but we have to respect those who don't appreciate it. Guess you will receive some angry comments in this thread.

But, to answer your question... I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the players mentioned are regulars here...

i see you misspelled my name pretty badly in your list there though... in fact, so badly that i can't even tell which one is me. you should fix that.

I'm none of them. This is, of course, a surprise to no one.

I would be... is it that much of a stretch to think that there are decent players out there who don't read these forums?

I guess perception is a funny thing, either that or my game is a lot different than yours.

I'd much rather see a list of the worst players you've come across. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Interesting. I am generally against discussing people by name without their permission or knowledge. Just doesn't seem right....so my comments will be general:

I have played with 6 of these players. In games I have been involved in, 3 have made money, and three have lost.

One has made $90 in 220 hands, not too shabby..
One has made $30 in 1000 hands, ouch
One has lost $100 in 160 hands.

Of course, the sample size is too small to make any of this significant in any way, shape or form, which means I just wasted a bunch of my (and sorry, yours too) time.

You know what my stats say for David Ross? Of course not, but I'll throw em out. David is the worst kind of player hemoraging chips at a rate of just over 15BB per hour. Given his obvious gambling addiciton I think he needs to quit now.

LOL...

My point was more about sample size. A couple o' hundred hands with anyone is not sufficient to tell whether they are a winner or a loser. That is why I found it interesting that I had stats on 6, and they were split down the middle. I would bet that if someone else had played, on seperate occassions, a similar number of hands with these same people, they would get drastically different numbers than I do.

Lord I hope so, there are some maniacs I have played with that have simply crushed the game over 200 hands...I keep telling myself that they get their come-upance in another session later....

One day, I'll make one of these lists...then, I'll know I have arrived. Then, it's the WPT, baby!

Back to crushing 2/4 until then..... /images/graemlins/smile.gif
