check/fold that river.

You think a check/fold is better than a bet/fold here?

no, i think a bet/fold is better...

sorry, just realized this was probably at the 2 + 2 table (what's he doing playing .5/$1 ??) so I would like to change my response to BET/RAISE/CAP !!

really? two tags decided to wait until the river when the board paired and the spade flush draw came in to go apeshit with an ace against a bb who could have anything? particularly a better straight?

or was this off the 2+2 table... in which case you should MENTION that because, well, everyone's a LAG there, not a TAG

They actually had 44 and 55, and waited until the river to raise their boats.

This was a 2+2 game, but the mentioned players were playing like TAGs, and not LAGs. I think both of them played this hand pretty bad, but notwithstanding that, I couldn't think of many hands that I was getting value from when I bet. Maybe a weakly played suited ace.

good or bad, i play it the same.

i think im gong on a marathon 10-hour session starting around noon CDT with a break somewhere in the middle. So, that means around midnight or so, (when the hands no longer count for this month in the Open Challenge) im going to be ready to unwind. Whos ready for some PLO8B. And i will be drinking this time....

peace
