Party Poker SNG, blinds are 100/200. 4th position with T1500 raises to 400, 5th position with T2400 calls. I am SB with T2700 and reraise to 1000 with QQ. Original raiser folds, caller calls. Flop is 8d5c3d. I push. Caller calls, shows Td7d. I lose with a set of queens to a flush.

Obviously, this sounds like a bad beat story. Clown calling two raises with T7s becomes huge stack. The money is not deep enough to call a raise with T7s to begin with. This opponent was getting over 3-1 on his money to call my reraise. However, what was he going to hit, since it was likely I had atleast AQ or TT? Maybe, he thought I was stealing. Maybe, he is just a calling station.

Question is: should I have just pushed preflop?

What limit were you playing and how many people were left?

This was $10, 7 handed. I was the largest stack and my opponent was the second stack.

1100 in the pot, this is an easy push.
