This was my first orbit at the table. I hadn't noticed either villian do anything particuarly crazy.

The turn threw me for a loop on this hand. Comments on the turn and my raise on the river, please.

River raise was conceivably for value only; no one who beats you is going anywhere. It got you 2-1 that neither blind was on KK, QQ, 88, or 33. Yet, seems like its more than 33 1/3% likely that one of them was on KK or QQ. Only two aces out there; how likely is it that both are on AK and/or AQ?

The second 8 counterfeits KQ first of all, which is a possibility.

Someone probably has a set though, but the pot is too big to drop. I wouldn't river raised, too much is saying that someone flopped a set.

I thought KK or QQ once I saw the 3 bet on the flop. You said it exactly.

I raised the river because I had BB as most likely holding KQ all along. I figured he would've capped pf with KK and possibly QQ. When SB checked I knew he didn't have a set.

When BB reraised, I figured it was time to stop.
