Shootout is basically nine nine handed one table tournaments (81 players), winner take all format. The winner advances to round two (9 players).

In round two the final nine play a second winner take all sit and go. Non winners at the final table get some cash back as listed in the prize pool.

The lucky bastard just got two big suckouts. Both times he was way behind when the money got in. Got two pair on the river v. AA and beat a low pocket pair when the board double paired making his AK the best hand.
Looks like he's gonna win this one.

Ive played with Josh in Miss. Ive also played with Brett Jungblud from "The Crew". IMO Espn made Josh look bad. He was always a humble guy......But hey, what do i know?

I'm not a fan of the guy, but he gets smack talked enough from the railbirds without 2+2ers needing to chime in on it.

Ya this makes sense whole threads devoted to heckling Arieh, and when someone(me) criticizes Raymer's play in a 2 million dollar freeroll with specific examples of horrible play I get flamed off the board. As for sucking out; I guess Raymer sucking out against someone who had all his chips in with AA is ok especially when the stakes are like 1000x higher right lol. Whatta joke you guys should at least TRY to keep some semblence of objectivity, it be refreshing.

OH and one shootouts are the prizes like 50% first stage 50% 2nd stage?? Im sorry to ask it might be common knowledge to Stars players but obviously alot of us have no clue.
