This hand occurred in the Stars $20 rebuy. Blinds are 1000/2000 a100. I hold AQo in the BB with about 12K in chips. Both opponents have me covered but not by much. Average is around 25K. CO opens for 6000 and the SB re-raises to 12000. I haven't seen either of these players get out of line. What is my play?

I think this is an auto-muck.

Co is probably on a blind steal with a hand less than yours but the small blind has a mid to high pocket pair or AK, AQ.

You probably missed a better place to push earlier and that should be what you're worrying about.

Fold. I don't think it's even close here.

Im in shock that someone would even consider pushing here. The chances that your dominated is like 70% here so basically you are praying that it is 2 under pairs which still makes you what 30% too win or something.

I folded, and suprisingly the CO folded as well. The way I look at it the CO is in a steal position and could have anything. The SB knows this and could be re-raising as a re-steal. I felt the chance of this did not justify a call though.

How do you reach this conclusion?
