Half way through this, and I just realized a thread hasn't been made!

At table 105, and it isn't lookin pretty, yet.

I'm in...

everyone at my table has gone all in and rebought 3 times but me -

Icheck is a particulary fishy character - never saw a bet that an all-in reraise wasn't appropriate for.

I was up to 7300 with QQ vs KQ and AK. Unfortunately, KQs went all in on my AA, and caught a QQx flop, so I'm back down to 3800.

I have a hard time believing people get into this rebuy tourney, get knocked out during the rebuy period, and don't rebuy... why play a rebuy if you aren't willing to use the rebuy?

Over 120 people out of 916 already have been knocked out during the rebuy...

Table 54, bought in for two and sitting at $4200.

I'm at the tightest table I've seen in one of these things...

You hold 87s with 4200 chips and limp from ep.

Lefty with 1400 chips raises to 100, gets a caller (1500?), then button pushes 2800.

15 minutes left in rebuy period. Do you fancy a gambooling call?

absolute dogshit cards -

only got two playable - two AK's in a row - first one the flop missed and the 2nd one my 200 bet got reraised 9K (yes, 9K) - since I knew I was at least 50/50 I called but didn't improve over his 9's -

I hate rebuys... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

$8350 at the break.

This was amusing. I had Ks Tc, call a couple of limpers. Flop comes As Kc Ts. Checked around to me, I bet a little more than the pot. Get two callers.

Turn is a baby spade. 2nd chair pushes and I know I'm in trouble but gotta call anyway.

Both off the flop callers had baby flushes, double depressing since there are now only 5 spades left in the deck to complete my nut flush...

One of which came on the river. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

OK, so I had 4 boat outs as well, it was still fun. :-)

Pretty sure my first table was the tightest until a few guys chimmed in how it's not smart to play so tight during the rebuy period and it will actually hurt the entire tables chances in the long run because people aren't pushing all in every other hand.

Then the flood gates opened and virtually every hand ended with some one or 4 all in.

I left with 7700 in chips after my initial buyin and rebuy so im not complaining.

Now at table 102 with 9900 after the addon

2nd break at 18920. Have had a couple of stressful hands...

- Tc 5c in BB. SB minraises, I call. Flop comes 9xx with two clubs. He bets small, I min-raise, he calls. Turn the JC. He checks, I bet a little more than the pot (scared of draws!). He thinks a bit then folds.

- KK, same guy on my right open-limps. I raise 4xBB, he calls again. Flop comes the dreaded Ace, checked to me. I gulp and bet the pot and he... folds.

- 88 in SB. Two limpers. I complete (wimpy!). Flop comes 753, I open for about half the pot and get two callers. J on the turn, checked to the button who makes a small bet. I call (wimpy!), 3rd guy calls. Q on the river, checked around. I take it down.

-AJs UTG, open raise, get repopped by MP all in for half my stack. I toss it.

GL all!

And out...

AQo at 12k, two limpers. I raise to 3000, monster stack calls. Flop comes Qxx and gives me nut flush draw. Monster stack leads out and I make the rookie mistake of slow playing. He turns his set (66) and busts me. *sigh* There's always tomorrow...

Out in 225th, KK ran into AA preflop.

I'm out 205. Lost with ATs with a flush against QQ which hit runner runner full house, then was finished with JJ in BB vs. KTs... flop TTx... I'm done.

This was the best I was playing for over a month, so I can't complain. Feel pretty good about my performance overall.

Here's the story...I am 2nd in chips, 11 left, I have about 800k, guy to my left has about 815k. Blinds are 20k/40k
I got 88, and raise to 125k, and he insta calls. Flop is 2 6 7 rainbow, so I got ahead and push, and he Instacalls!! He flips over 35!!! 35!!!!!!! Turn is a blank, river is his miracle 4. Wtf..Worst beat of my life for such a key time. How could he make that call?!?!?!

He ends up going into the final table with about 2 mil chips, 2nd is about .6 mil. That should be me. What bs...I am so steamed. How could he make that call?? Wow...I don't think I cna sleep after this...all comfort is helpful. BS!

Go to sleep, buddy.
Lucky guys make to the final table.
He is nothing but lucky.
Sometimes, people don't play poker by odds. They play by feel. I guess he felt he can win that hand regardless what cards he has.
