AKo all-in at Borgata Rebuy

What do you think of my AKo play?

Borgata 40 + 10 Rebuy, early in Level 5, 20-minute rounds
No more rebuys
Blinds 200/400, 50 ante
I have 4875 left after posting the small blind; an average stack.

Two limpers
One off the button raises to 1500. He had just doubled up with K-10 off and I knew he had some loose preflop standards, but he wasn't a crazy bettor.

I had AK off, thought about it, and raised all-in. I knew the only possible caller would be the raiser.

He called me with 99 and won the race. I was thinking he had two overcards, but oh well.

I think it was the right play, but I'm curious to hear other opinions. Actually I think his play was pretty good there, too.

BTW the Borgata is really nice.

If you have AK he can't have two overcards.

I think you played this correctly. I don't like flatcalling b/c it's too much of your stack if you miss. This way you put him to a decision and you have some folding equity.
