I'm not a big tournament player, and I wasn't too sure about this hand. I had just doubled up with TT against AQ when I hit quads. Before that for about an hour, it was just folded around to the button, raise, blinds would fold. Unfortunately I do not have the hand history so bare with me. There are 7 people left, places 3-7 all pay between 2800 and 1500, so there's not too much of a difference. 2nd pays around 4800, and 1st is 9000.

I am in the BB with ~T280000. Villian is in the SB with around 225000. Blinds are 20000-40000. Folded to the villian who minraises to 80000. I have T8s. Should I fold, call, raise, push?

Well I called seeing I was getting odds. The flop comes J9x with one of my suit. Villian bets 40000 into the 160000 pot making it 200000. I have about 200000 left. Should I fold, call, raise, or push?

Thanks.

has the villian been aggresively stealing blinds since you have been on the table? If not than you are definitely way behind. You are more than likely up against a big pair here. If he has qq than that makes your draw relatively weak. The question is do you want to put your money in this situation or wait? I would flod and wait not a very promising position.

You are getting correct odds to call here. Push the pot to see where you are at in this hand. I have a feeling Villian has overcard(s) with that mini-bet.

he may be getting odds to call, i just don't think it is that smart to just call away 1/4 of your stack on a draw. If you just call and don't catch he will push on the turn. If you push I think he will call and you would be in a very unfavorable situation. Easy fold in my opinion.
