Max Payne 2 or Doom 3 or Far cry or Call fo Duty

Which of these should I get next (after I have finished HL2).

I have played ALL of those. Get FarCry, it's not even close.

Only played Doom 3 of these games. Pretty cool but very very unstable and the ending was pretty lame.

I've only played Max Payne 2 of all these, but it was WAY disappointing. If you've played the first, just avoid the second - trust me.

Seriously though, why do you say this? At present I am leaning toward MP2 as I loved MP1.

I would just buy all of em at once but if I buy them and complete them seperatley I could save £££ as PC game prices drop prety fast.

Also I left off UT2004 which is definately in the running.

Well you can try the FarCry demo from fileplanet. The game is totally awesome and much longer than Max Payne, which I beat in one day. I'm positive you won't be disappointed.

I've heard some people say the exact opposite. I can understand why some people don't like it, though.

I enjoyed both MP games, and although I did like the first one better, it was just because of the story. The gameplay in MP2 is all pretty solid. Like the first Max Payne, it's very short. That is not a completely bad thing, as all the content is pretty quality stuff. In other words, it's better than a longer game that includes "filler" just to make the game take longer to finish.

If you plan to spend any time playing multiplayer if you get COD/far cry get CoD. It has a much bigger multiplayer community. Far Cry has very very beautiful maps / environemnts though. So purdy.

Doom 3 runs fine on a highend system. And yes the ending does suck, but what else did you expect? And yes Call of Duty is better. Haven't played Farcry though.

after hl2 that's tough. i would have suggested far cry based on what i know but i think call of duty might be better because the candy factor of far cry would be reduced. but i haven't played it, only seen reviews/etc.
