after three months of playing .50/1 at partypoker i am up an astounding 250 bets. i played just about 1000 hands per day. i am playing winning poker but the results suck. i thought id have a nice bankroll by now and at least be playing 1/2 . my question is the rake killing me down at the .50/1 tables? can you start at such a low level and build your br up? i remember reading something about this a while back. i started to think about this after getting my first rake rebate and it was around $450.

For bankroll building, I highly recommend bonus whoring. I started at $50 back when I registered for 2+2, and I'm up a little over $3k now.
Sounds like you've paid quite a bit in rake. You can pretty easily tell how much of a winning player you are though -- what's your BB/100, and over how many handds? Also, what's your SD?

SD= Standard Deviation
Sounds like you probably don't have Poker Tracker yet. Download it, buy it, it's worth the money ($55).
