I'm out. Just can't seem to ever get in a groove in these. AJ on an AAT flop. Bet hard, called by one guy who was capable of having any A. Turn a 4. I bet he calls. River a 2, I bet he sets me allin, but I have 400 left, so I call and see A4 take it down.

I know I'm not playing good poker in these, but just seems that I cannot get a thing going.

Sorry for the whine. Might have a few people review my HH's. Good luck all who are in!

TheTimeIsUp

At T5905 at the first break. 3 Hands.
Hand 1 : I have AJ on the button, CO that has been stealing all day raises to 150 (blinds are 25/50) and I reraise to 450. Flop is JJ2, I check through the river where I throw out a 600 bet, and he calls with AQ. Over cards.
Hand 2 : I raise in MP to 175 (blinds are still 25/50) with 10 10, and the same LAG calls. The flop is 278, he pushes for about 900 and I call. He flips over 68, and doesn't improve.
Hand 3 : I have QQ in CO+1. I raise to 200 (Blinds are 25/50) Big fish who pulled out a miracle 2 outer on the river calls. Flop is 367, he pushes, and I call. He flips over 65 and doesn't improve.
Good start, but my fishy table just broke /images/graemlins/frown.gif , and this new one is all tight aggros, bah

I'm out /images/graemlins/frown.gif

AQs vs AKs, I raised to 1k, bully behind me pushed me all in for 2.5k more, should I have mucked it? I feel terrible, was this the right play?

Tyler Durden
11-28-2004, 07:09 PM
I'm out, loose fish limps UTG, I move in w/ AK from MP for 1800, he calls w/ AJ and flops top two.

I dunno what's worse, the suckout or the table breaking right after the hand so I couldn't even talk sh1t to him.

mntbikr15
11-28-2004, 07:14 PM
Why raise to 1K? Were there limpers ahead of u? If not I raise to 450(3x BB and muck to a big reraise usually), that is without some sort of read otherwise.

Anyway curious about the 1K reraise, what was ur total stack prior?

I've been trying to tell myself the same thing.

I pissed away some chips because I'm stupid, but the hand that put me out was my AA overbetting the pot all in on a JQ2 flop, and getting called by J4 who proceeds to turn the trip J.

I've been trying to tell myself that his call makes me money in the long run..........., but today I hate it. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

intereting hand when i had 10k,guy raises utg to 1000 (blinds were 200/400)

I call with 66 and big stack also calls

Flop comes 752 rainbow

UTG checks i bet out 3k and the stack smooth calls!?

With about 180 to go, I was watching a table Tib was at, where he was all-in, covered by his opponent, and hit a two-outer on the river to stay alive. The table then made a bunch of comments about how he had been sucking out on the river for a while there. It wasn't the railbirds saying that either, it was the other players. Seems as though he had hit a few 2-outers when all-in before.

Someone even commented "Mr. Jones should just give you the money now". Wasn't there a nice "PS is rigged" thread going on in the Zoo a little while back? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

If by ran over the table you mean played reasonably poorly and got lucky, then yes, I agree.

I think the guy who got 2nd played the best, letting everyone destroy each other with agression.

TheTimeIsUp
11-29-2004, 02:37 AM
If you like near aroudn the final 4, 9/10 pots were won by him. I think that qualifies for running over the table.

As for teh guy that got 2nd, I think he played good also, and got lucky when he got caught bluffing with that 73o
