Last night I qualified for the Poker Stars WPT event in the Bahamas through the $650.00 on-line sat (PGA71 PS screen name).
I started a thread last night, and have a summary at all the breaks.
Check it out if you like.
Tournament took 7 hours.
Gotmilk, and plasticman also twoplustwoers made it as well and congratulations to you.

Thanks to the 2 plus 2ers providing positive sweat, support and advice.
Adanthar special thanks to you for your advice about sliding into the money.

Also want to thank all of you on this forum that helped improve my play since joining back in July.

This will be my first WPT event and hope to put in a good showing for you guys.

I would like to giveback by posting some interesting hands that happened last night that could help us all improve.

Will also post the hand that I broke Josh Arieh (razorbax) with.

Thanks again to all, and looking forward to meeting many of you brown trouters at the Bahamas.

Congrats Prime Time! I've qualified through a shoot out so hopefully will see you in the Bahamas. Are you a Chicagoan? For some reason PGA71 rings a bell.

Yes I remember you.
I did not know you where a 2 plus 2er.

But I am glad to tell you this.
Do you remember towrds the end you raise all in, all folded and you showed AJ spaids? I mucked AK on the button.

Any other idiot would have called, but I had such a big stack at the time (2nd Place), I was able to just fold into the money.
Remember?

Congrads to you!!

What is the DS you mention?

well first of all thanks for folding!!

I was counting on bubble mentality to keep folks from calling me.. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

DS = double shootout. I was playing both at the same time and it just so happens I won the double shoot out before it got down to the last few in the super.. So when we won that tourney they just gave me 10k in W$ /images/graemlins/smile.gif

hmm.. it says i raised, no push.. Anyway, i was trying to get off the bubble and chip up by stealing.. I cant just sit there and get blinded off... Gap theory: it takes a bigger hand to make a call than make a bet... Gap theory even more importat when one mistake can cost you the big prize.. So stealing on the bubble is the easiest time. If you run into a big hand, so be it... I would surely rather go out like that than blind off...
