Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed)

UTG (t2740)
Hero (t940)
Button (t1405)
SB (t910)
BB (t2005)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/club.gif.

River: (t2250) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t2250

Results in white below:
Hero has Jd 9c (two pair, tens and nines).
SB has Qc Kc (one pair, tens).
Outcome: Hero wins t2250.

My figuring was I'd be a 40-60 at worst, and I'd have to push with any two the next hand anyway. J9o isn't the best one to go to war with but I had little choice here. If it had been sooted it's an instant push. Plus under 6 BB and blinds going up in 2 more hands, I figured the time to make a move was now. Is this right?

I didn't like UTG's limp but I figured this was my best fold equity as he'd call anything in the BB, and with the other small stack in the SB..

If UTG had folded, it'd have been close. With him limping and no read, it's a definite fold.

Normally I would agree but this UTG was limping almost every hand - generally with junk - and had folded before in a similar situation to another stack's all in, after limping from UTG+1.

looks like a standard steal attempt. utg limping shouldnt affect your decision to steal if hes been limping a lot.
