First off we played a few buy ins.

I went out first hand with QQ all in with JJ, hit a j on river.

2nd buy in, Flop came A /images/graemlins/spade.gif 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif, i was in bb with j 9 spades, table checks to me, im low man, i move in, one person calls, with 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif. Turn was a 5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif, River was a 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif!!

3rd buy in Got down to heads up after playing extremely tight, first hand, got K /images/graemlins/heart.gifK /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, i tripled the big blind, bb goes all in , i call. He shows 10 /images/graemlins/spade.gif10 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. Flop comes: rags, turn 10 /images/graemlins/club.gif, river rag.

I was down awhole lot after that. Then we played 1/2 holdem and 2/4 hi/low. Came back to win 95 dollars back and be up 35 dollars.

What a night. I posted this as a glimmer of hope that if u stick thru the horrible horrible calls/plays of weaker players that suck out on you, u can make some big $ off them when they are betting with real cash. Plus i needed to vent my frustration, hell in 3rs i got a had a huge advantaged cracked multiple times by 2 and 3 outers. I was so mad, i cant believe i calm'd myself down enough not to go on tilt for the cash games.

Well, the Deuce's call was bad, but the Ten's really wasn't.

Raising 3xBB doesn't necessarily mean you had a big pocket. Thats a standard size raise, you could have had AQ or AK.

Anyhow, nice job earning it back. Patience pays off.

He can't win -just- by making the pair /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Any unpaired AKQTX, KQT9X, QT98X board wins it
Any jackless T987X board wins it.
Any fourflush wins it if he has suits unique from yours.

Best-case-scenario for dead-out underpair:

pokenum -h qs qc - jd jh / jc
Holdem Hi: 1533939 enumerated boards

do u really think i dont know u can hit a 4card flush or straight?

Queens vs Jacks or Aces vs Kings is just one of those times u know you've won, and if u dont, its bs, and always will be /images/graemlins/smile.gif
