You can't fold here. You have the 2nd nuts. I agree with your call on the river instead of the 3bet. The pot is too big to fold, what with it being 25 Big bets and all. You've gotta think that you're good more than 1 in 12 times here.

That's a pretty bizarre hand. I might 3-bet that flop because you have a lot of outs, but it really depends on whether you think you can buy the free card. On the river, I would play it the same.

i would 3-bet the flop. your flush draw is gonna be good somewhere near 90% of the time. the str8 draw is nice too, but it is less likely to be good if you hit it. i would say that the str8 possibility makes up for the flush draw being to only 2nd nuts.

You need to put more money in the pot on that flop. What a monster. 9 outs to the flush, 3 more to the straight, and 5 more to top pair.

Would it change anything if i mentioned that UTG is super-tight? With him raising like that early, I put him on AA/KK/QQ/AK (possibly with the A /images/graemlins/club.gif which is the only card to beat me when the river card came).

For that reason i toned down the turn and river play. That's my normal passive tendencies trying to peek out from my basic understanding of SSHE (working on it).

I think you have to 3-bet the flop.

Given that you coldcalled, I agree with your turn and river play.
