I'm playing a live tourney and its down to 3 people...payouts $2100
$1000
$550

I'm in last place with about 50k-60k in chips and the other two guys had about double that.

Blinds are at 10k/20k so I'm in danger of being blinded off.

The person to my right seems to be a pretty good player but an occasional garbage collector, and the person to my left is a complete beginner and calling station so its almost impossible to steal blinds.

Obviously I had to find a place to move in and fast, but I think I might have played it too tight. What do you guys feel the acceptable range to push all your chips in, in these conditions would be?

I'm having a hard time trying to reconcile my Kxs fold that could have doubled me up. Would that have been a good play taking in consideration my 100% chance of being called?

Almost anything you are in real danger of being blinded out but if you double up you will probably do no worse than 2nd. I think the average holding in Hold'em is something like J6o in this context Kx is playable.

you have to gamble and Khigh is going to be better than the average blind hand, easy push and not close.

I know you don't want to risk busting out on a modest hand at best but I think you have to otherwise you bust out the worst way possible and thats being blinded out.

any 2 if someone else didnt push in front. unless i read that wrong, you have 60k, and blinds are 10K-20K, you have to push

Any two cards, with the BB at 1/3 of your stack you can't afford to wait.
