Is this a smart call on the river this early in the tournament? I had no reads as this was close to the first hand at the table.

Too coordinated board for me to risk all my chips on top pair, especially against 2 players. If the jack had been 7d I would gladly pushed it all in.

I'll wait for some experienced views.

Here was my thinking:

Ace King probably does not call my raise on the flop with the inside straight draw. So when the jack came I wasn't too worried about the straight.

Plus the small bet on 4th street seemed fishy.

I suspect AK would call your bet, because he probably thinks his overcards are good, too. However, here his betting screams of a set to me. Probably of 10s..

I kinda feel AQ is misplaced in this hand. You really want to be raising with it pre flop or folding in my humble opinion. It mainly wins with TP and strong kicker, but you're not going to find too many limpers willing to pay that type of hand off unless they have it beat.

I think not raising AQ PF from late position is a big mistake - You don't really want to see a flop with 5 players holding rags. At low buy-in levels (?) a raise will be called by Ax, Kx and pp (and occaisionally suited connectors, which can be a problem but you should be able to spot this) against all of which you're usually ahead if you pair on the flop. Yeah, you'll miss the flop a significant amount of time, but, when the flop misses everyone you can usually scoop it with a late position bet due to the perceived strength of your pf raise.
