You have some rag hand like 86o in the BB. 2 or 3 limpers.

Flop is A82r or A63r. How do I play this?

My thoughts: Small pot, Lots of people at micros will play any Ace, so maybe best to check fold. OTOH, they could well be limping on QJ, KT etc. in which case I am ahead and should protect my hand. So perhaps bet/fold to raise, of bet/fold turn unimproved is better? How does this change as the no. of limpers is altered.

Thanks in advance.

I bet this after I've seen everyone else check. If I'm on the button, that's the flop. If not, it's the turn on a non-scare card.

My thoughts: Small pot

Like it says in SSHE, play tighter when the pot is small, looser when the pot is big.
